Overview

The German soprano enjoys a high-flying career in the world’s major opera houses, with recent appearances in the title-role of Donizetti’s Anna Bolena in Vienna and as the Countess in Strauss’s Capriccio in Munich. For this unusual programme she is joined by the eminent French harpist, ‘a virtuoso of the highest order,’ as Gramophone has put it, ‘profoundly musical and capable of realising a remarkable range of nuance.’
