    Overview

Always welcome visitors to Wigmore Hall, the influential Dutch musician and the orchestra he founded in 1979 renew their relationship with Bach, whose orchestral compositions are a source of inexhaustible delight for audiences, especially the popular Brandenburg set, which the composer presented to Christian Ludwig, Margrave of Brandenburg-Schwedt in 1721. BWV1060R is a reconstruction of a lost work for oboe and violin that has come down to us as a harpsichord concerto.
