Programme

Overview

Founded by Raimund Trenkler in Kronberg im Taunus not far from Frankfurt in Germany in 1993, the educational establishment has helped to train more than one generation of string players and – since 2018 – pianists too. The results can be heard in today’s programmes, featuring young soloists who visit major musical centres to demonstrate their prowess. Featured in the programme is a 1948 piece by the great Viennese-born violinist, Kreisler.

This concert is part of the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust ticket scheme, offering free tickets to those aged 8-25
