Overview

Vienna was a city that loved to dance. Strauss’s waltzes evoke the gentility of high-society ballrooms, whilst Brahms conjures up the foot-tapping energy of Hungarian Gypsy music. Beethoven’s Septet is full of the outdoor freshness of an 18th-century serenade.
