Overview
In a state of constant development since its origins at the Guildhall School of Music in 2009, the ensemble was selected for representation by YCAT in 2013 and awarded a fellowship from the Borletti-Buitoni Trust in 2018, the year its first disc – ‘a recording we should all listen to’ – was released. ‘It’s hard to know’, continued Gramophone, ‘how Trio Isimsiz could have bettered such artistry and distinctiveness’.
