Overview
The return to Wigmore Hall of one of the world’s most admired ensembles is always a special event. ‘A good string quartet, wisdom has it, is like a single instrument with 16 strings’, wrote The New York Times of their Chamber Music Society appearances at Lincoln Center in 2016. ‘That sort of unity of sound and purpose is a given in any performance by the extraordinary Jerusalem Quartet’.
