Overview

Here the flexible ensemble champions a quintet by the talented French composer Louise Farrenc, and two works by John McCabe: his Variations on his own theme tune for the TV series Sam was premièred by the Schubert Ensemble in 1989 while Bosch himself commissioned the short 1986 solo double bass piece Pueblo, inspired by the American desert.

This concert is part of the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust ticket scheme, offering free tickets to those aged 8-25
