Overview
A member of a talented family who is a rising star in her own right, tonight’s soloist made a memorable Proms debut in 2022 playing the Florence Price Piano Concerto with Chineke! Orchestra. Here, too, Price’s music finds a place in the shape of the Fantasie Nègre (1929), based on the Spiritual ‘Sinner, please don't let this harvest pass’.
