Overview
Named after the Czech musician Antonín Bennewitz, the ensemble has won numerous awards, among them the Prize of the Czech Chamber Music Society (2004), first prize at the Osaka Competition (2005), the Premio Paolo Borciani (2008), and in 2019 the Classic Prague Award for the Best Chamber Music Performance of the Year. Of a Dvořák recording, Gramophone wrote, ‘the Bennewitz is wonderful.’
