Overview

Alder and Middleton’s recital CD of French song has been warmly welcomed. ‘Here’s a peach of a recital disc’, wrote Gramophone, while for The Guardian the collection ‘finds Louise Alder on glowing form, equalled in expression all the way by pianist Joseph Middleton’. The soprano is also joined by Doric String Quartet and a quintet of leading wind players for this beautiful programme.
