Overview
Regular and popular artists at Wigmore Hall, on whose label several of their recordings – including the entire Beethoven sequence, plus today’s Schubert piece – have been released, the ensemble tackles one of the highlights of the English repertoire with Elgar’s sole example, whose first public performance was given at today’s venue in 1919.
