Join pianist Andrew Armstrong as he celebrates 100 years since Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue was first performed in Manhattan’s Aeolian Hall. Coinciding with the release of his new album In Blue, Armstrong’s programme also includes works by William Grant Still and Julia Perry, as well as Before Sleep and Dreams by Aaron Jay Kernis, a modern day New York City composer.
