One of the composers on this programme – Steve Reich – has called Colin Currie ‘one of the greatest musicians in the world today’. One of the virtuoso percussionist’s own ensembles – he also runs the Colin Currie Group and Colin Currie Records – brings a programme of contemporary works performed to exceptional standards.
