Overview
A pupil of her father Serguei Milstein and of Nelson Goerner, the French pianist’s playing has ‘revealed her as the possessor of a superb technique and a true artist’, according to The Sunday Times. In her return to the venue, she includes two sets of variations, a substantial and mature work (1895) by Fauré, and an earlier, little-known piece by Tchaikovsky (1873).
