Winner of competitions worldwide and praised for her nuanced and passionate interpretations, Tracy Tang has toured internationally from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Musikverein in Vienna and the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing. Born in the US and growing up in China, Tracy studied in Vienna and Paris before graduating from New England Conservatory in Boston. Now on the Advanced Diploma at the Royal Academy of Music, Tracy Tang’s Wigmore programme imaginatively links works from Russia and Ukraine, contrasting Silvestrov’s haunting music with Prokofiev’s celebrated war sonata.
