Overview
‘I count myself as his pupil, his flesh and blood,’ noted Mieczysław Weinberg about his friend Dmitry Shostakovich. Quatuor Danel continues its exploration with three extraordinary works, including Shostakovich’s edgy F minor Quartet and the troubled psyche of Weinberg’s Twelfth Quartet of 1969-70.
