Overview
Siglo de Oro recalls the contrasts between the sacred and the profane surrounding the penitential season of Lent, helped by a riotous madrigal comedy for the evening of Fat Thursday by the musician and monk Adriano Banchieri and three transcendent Holy Week motets.
