    Programme

    Overview

Cupertinos evoke a remarkable period in their homeland’s cultural history. The Portuguese vocal ensemble’s programme highlights the creative spirit fostered at Évora Cathedral in the early 1600s, not least by Duarte Lobo, Manuel Cardoso and Filipe de Magalhães, whose Missa O soberana luz supplies the exquisite companion to a spellbinding selection of shorter sacred works.
