Overview

Tchaikovsky’s dozen miniatures, each an expression of a particular month of the year, might have been written with Christian Blackshaw’s sensitive pianism in mind. The esteemed English pianist follows The Seasons with Chopin’s mercurial Op. 24 Mazurkas and Schubert’s sublime first set of Impromptus.
