Creative sparks fly whenever the Gould Piano Trio makes music. The British ensemble, compared by the Washington Post to the great Beaux Arts Trio, brings truly combustible artistic materials to its latest Wigmore Hall outing, pairing Saint-Saëns’s five-movement Second Piano Trio with Tchaikovsky’s equally impassioned Piano Trio in A minor.
