    The Basel Chamber Orchestra, founded in 1984, has captured global attention with its versatility on period and modern instruments. Felix Mendelssohn’s youthful string symphonies frame its exploration of two Bach concertos with Norwegian violinist Vilde Frang, praised by The Times for her ‘vividly emotional’ playing, as soloist.
