Overview

Alina Ibragimova and Cédric Tiberghien harvested a bumper crop of rave reviews with their first cycle of Beethoven’s violin sonatas at Wigmore Hall in the 2009/10 Season. They return to three sonatas composed in the early years of the 19th Century, including the rarely played, touchingly beautiful Op. 30 No. 1 and its formidable C minor sibling.
