Overview

Ukrainian baritone Andrii Kymach, winner of the 2019 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition, journeys deep into the songs and poetry of his homeland. His programme includes heart-melting folk melodies, mighty songs by Mykola Lysenko and Kyrylo Stetsenko, and achingly nostalgic pieces by Anatoliy Kos-Anatolsky and Vasyl Barvinsky.
