A founding member of the Jerusalem Quartet and principal viola of the Berlin Philharmonic joins with his regular pianist partner for a programme including two major classics of his instrument’s duo literature. They also include an unusual and significant piece by the Hungarian-Israeli violinist, violist, composer, teacher and administrator Ödön Pártos (1907-77), written in 1947, its title a reference to a prayer for the dead.
