  • Andrè Schuen baritone
  • Daniel Heide piano

One of the great song cycles performed by exceptional Lieder exponents: the baritone, who grew up in the South Tyrol (part of Italy) speaking not only Italian but also German and Ladin, has subsequently become widely admired in song as well as opera, regularly in tandem with tonight’s pianist; together the pair has been performing Die schöne Müllerin frequently over the last year, and have also recorded it to enthusiastic praise from the critics.

  • Franz Schubert (1797-1828)
