Andrei Bondarenko, born in 1987, has forged a stellar international career in the decade since he joined the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers.

The Ukrainian baritone, Song Prize-winner at the 2011 Cardiff Singer of the World, revels in French mélodies in his recital’s first half before mining the vital emotions of Tchaikovsky’s Russian romances and songs.
