A mixed programme from the outstanding pianist. Universally recognised for her Bach playing, substantially documented on disc, the Canadian artist has also recorded French music, including by Emmanuel Chabrier (‘Angela Hewitt, in one of her best recordings to date, has captured Chabrier’s musical spirit perfectly’ – International Record Review), as well as concertos by Mozart (‘Hewitt is a spry Mozartian’ – The Irish Times).
