‘One of the great violinists of our time’ (Fono Forum) forms half of this distinguished duo of German musicians, while her partner is particularly admired as a collaborative pianist. They perform three classic works, beginning with a minor-key work by Mozart whose sadness reflects the recent death of his mother.

  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791)
      • Violin Sonata in E minor K304
  • Robert Schumann (1810-1856)
      • Violin Sonata No. 1 in A minor Op. 105
  • César Franck (1822-1890)
      • Sonata in A for violin and piano
