  • Armida Quartet

Named after an opera by Haydn – the father of the string quartet – the Armida was founded in Berlin in 2006 and has gone on to win important prizes as well as enjoying a period as a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist from 2014-16; its programme features three popular classics of the medium, including Mendelssohn’s buoyant quartet of 1838.
