Founded in 1989 and renewing its membership over the years, the Artemis has retained a high reputation for its Beethoven performances in particular. Joined by its former cellist, the quartet plays an anonymous arrangement (1832) of Beethoven’s violin sonata alongside a new work by Lera Auerbach.
