The Russian-born violinist was a prodigy, playing with orchestras when she was six. When her double bassist father took up a principal post with the London Symphony Orchestra she and her family moved to England, where she studied and has subsequently based her highly successful career as a musician of dynamic character – something celebrated with her Wigmore residency.
