The Italian pianist made her orchestral debut at the age of nine and took first prize in the Montreal International Piano Competition at the age of 18. Her programme includes the 1836 version of Schumann’s ‘Concerto Without Orchestra’ and the third volume of Albéniz’s extensive Spanish suite.
