We are delighted to announce the return of the Bechstein Sessions, a series of informal and intimate performances in the Bechstein Bar.

Here the Miyabi Duo performs music written by composers currently living and working in the UK, alongside arrangements of music from the Renaissance, holding up a mirror between the two Elizabethan eras. At the heart of the programme sit several world premieres as a result of close collaboration with various composers, who have inspired the duo with their different approaches to writing for two guitars.

    • Programme to include:
  • Mihailo Trandafilovski (b.1974)
      • String Dune(s)
        • (world première)
  • Stephen Balfour (b.1997)
