Still only in his 20s, the British pianist is admired by connoisseurs as well as the wider public. His programme places a distinct accent on Liszt, featuring no fewer than three of his concert waltzes, including the virtuoso transcription of the example from Gounod’s Faust. His programme includes a selection of whimsical works by Prokofiev alongside Beethoven's Grand Sonata and Liszt's reflections on an opera by Bellini.
