Cédric Pescia, born in Lausanne, made his breakthrough in 2002 with victory in the Gina Bachauer International Artists Piano Competition.

He makes his Wigmore Hall debut with a programme that spans the gamut of keyboard character pieces, from François Couperin’s Quatrième livre de pièces de clavecin to Schumann’s Davidsbündlertänze, intimate reflections on contrasting aspects of the composer’s artistic personality.
