Made up of four highly individual musicians – violinists Alina Ibragimova and Pablo Hernán Benedí, violist Emilie Hornlund and cellist Claire Thirion – the ensemble has won renown for its performances utilising gut strings and period bows, and has made something of a speciality of Mozart, including his late (1789-90) set written for the King of Prussia.
