- Chineke! Orchestra
Chineke! burst upon the musical scene in 2015, when The Guardian welcomed its first programme with a 5-star review. As in that first programme, tonight it includes a work by the British composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (1875-1912), best known for his cantata Hiawatha’s Wedding Feast, whose Op. 1 (1893) has been successfully revived in recent years.
Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (1875-1912)
- Piano Quintet in G minor Op. 1
Franz Schubert (1797-1828)
- Piano Quintet in A D667 'The Trout'
