A rising star mezzo-soprano, the American artist enjoys a busy career on the operatic stage as well as the concert platform but has shown a particular commitment to the song recital, especially as co-artistic director of the Source Song Festival in Minnesota. Her programme moves from Schubert to 20th-century American and Spanish song, coming right up to date with examples by the admired contemporary composer Libby Larsen.
