  • Claron McFadden soprano
  • Alexander Melnikov piano

Claron McFadden and Alexander Melnikov return to reprise a creative programme they first performed at Wigmore Hall in December 2019, which features works designed to push the boundaries of the human voice as an instrument. Cathy Berberian’s graphic score for Stripsody (1966) consists of comic-book-style sound effects, and George Crumb’s work takes on the poetry of Walt Whitman for voice and amplified piano.
