With its conjoined interests in the classical quartet repertoire and the Nordic folk-music tradition, the ensemble holds a unique place on the international chamber music scene. Its opening selection of pieces is characteristically diverse in content. Also included is a new work by a leading Danish composer premièred by the quartet in Frederiksberg in September.
