Emotional intensity and shrewd programming belong to the Dante Quartet’s checklist of qualities.

The group, winner of the Royal Philharmonic Society Chamber Music Award 2007, sets Haydn’s Op. 33 No. 2, with its famous stop-start ending, in company with the inexhaustible invention and creative refinement of Beethoven’s late String Quartet in B flat.

  • Joseph Haydn (1732-1809)
        • String Quartet in E flat major Op. 33 No. 2 'The Joke'
  • Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827)
        • String Quartet in B flat major Op. 130
