A leading quartet is joined by two exceptional soloists for a fin-de-siècle programme including two rarities: the masterly sonata (1893) by the tragically short-lived Guillaume Lekeu (1870-94), and Chausson’s unusual concerto (1891) for a chamber formation.

  • Guillaume Lekeu (1870-1894)
        • Violin Sonata in G
  • Claude Debussy (1862-1918)
        • String Quartet in G minor Op. 10
  • Interval
  • Ernest Chausson (1855-1899)
        • Concert in D for violin, piano and string quartet Op. 21
