The first appearance at Wigmore Hall by sisters Eleanor and Laura Bush, in a recital of lesser-known duets, including contemporary songs by C. A. Lidgey and Alice Chambers Bunten, both of whom accompanied their own works. The sisters also gave the first performance of three duets by the Hungarian composer Emánuel Moór.

Hans Wessely had previously appeared as part of the Wessely String Quartet, and here gave his first solo performances at Wigmore Hall; the sisters were also aided by the clarinettist Frances Thomas, who had studied at the Royal Academy of Music and during the late nineteenth century had made a significant impact on the orchestral and concert stage as one of London's only female clarinettists.
