A regular guest at Wigmore Hall, the Elias was formed at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester in 1998 and continued studies in Cologne before assuming an enviable position among today’s leading ensembles: its recordings range from the Viennese classics through the Romantics to the contemporary. The ensemble is joined by a leading clarinettist for Bliss’s fine work (1932).
