One current (tenor Alessandro Fisher) and five former members of the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists scheme come together for a programme of song – the two late examples by Brahms notable for their emotive viola obbligatos, Schubert’s popular The Shepherd on the Rock for its colourful clarinet line.
