The Wigmore Hall French Song Exchange – devised by Dame Felicity Lott and François le Roux at John Gilhooly’s invitation – returns with two Wigmore Hall recitals, offering seven gifted singers the chance to explore the genre through coaching and direction from their mentors, culminating in these performances.
After months of coaching from two leaders of the genre, the first batch of singers offer their take on keystones of French song as well as lesser-known gems – some of which are likely receiving their first performance at Wigmore Hall. The singers will be joined by celebrated accompanist Sebastian Wybrew.
- Supported by Tony and Marion Allen
