To mark Easter two major works by Heinrich Schütz, preceded by a suite from the Musical Banquet (1617) by his contemporary Johann Hermann Schein, performed by two leading early-music ensembles and with tenor soloist Charles Daniels the Evangelist in Schütz’s Resurrection Story.
