Founded in 2002 at the Royal Northern College of Music, the ensemble recently welcomed a new joint leader in the person of Marije Johnson, previously a member of the Navarra Quartet, who joins existing members Sarah Wolstenholme, Gary Pomeroy and Christopher Murray. Following the recent debut appearance of the new line-up at the Presteigne Festival, the group returns to Wigmore Hall with a new co-commission from a leading Scottish composer, written during lockdown and at the time of the birth of her second child.
