- Ian Bostridge tenor
- Saskia Giorgini piano
Joining the pre-eminent Lieder interpreter for a traversal of the first of Schubert’s great cycles, the Italian-Dutch pianist won the Salzburg International Mozart Competition in 2016 and made her debut at the Musikverein in Vienna the following year. Composed in 1823, The Fair Maid of the Mill shows Schubert’s mastery of the combination of lyricism with narrative in full flower.
