- Juho Pohjonen piano
Swedish cellist Jakob Koranyi, an ECHO Rising Star in 2011/12, has earned critical plaudits for the visionary nature of his interpretations and the breadth of his repertoire.
He and Juho Pohjonen probe the deceptive simplicity of three songs from Grieg’s Haugtussa cycle before plunging into the turbulent emotional world of Shostakovich’s Cello Sonata in D minor.
